1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of the FIRST STOP IT TECHNOLOGIES payment gateway platform — including but not limited to submitting a transaction, using our API services, registering as a merchant, or browsing our website — you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services immediately.

2. Definitions

Platform: The digital infrastructure, portal, and APIs operated by FIRST STOP IT TECHNOLOGIES for providing payment gateway and financial technology services.
User: Any individual or entity using our platform, including merchants and customers.
Merchant: A business or individual registered to use our payment gateway or API services.
Customer: End users whose transactions are processed through our platform.
Services: All services provided by FIRST STOP IT TECHNOLOGIES, including API access, payment processing, integrations, merchant dashboard, and customer-support tools.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information during registration and usage.
Users may not engage in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited activities.
Merchants must comply with all applicable Pakistani laws, banking rules, and payment service regulations.

4. Platform Responsibilities

FIRST STOP IT TECHNOLOGIES will take reasonable measures to maintain uptime, stability, and security.
We will facilitate transaction routing, payment verification, transaction status updates, settlement processes, and refunds as per our policies.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FIRST STOP IT TECHNOLOGIES is not liable for:

Merchant product/service delivery issues
Failures on the part of banks, mobile wallets, partners, or third-party providers
Any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages

Liability for any claim is capped at the disputed transaction amount or PKR 10,000 — whichever is lower.

6. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user or merchant access at any time, with or without notice, including for:

Policy violations
Fraudulent activity
Failure to provide required documentation
Security risks or abuse of services

7. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or service failures caused by events beyond our control, including:
Acts of God, natural disasters, power failures, communications breakdowns, cyberattacks, strikes, or governmental restrictions.

8. Cookies & Tracking Policy

Our platform may use cookies and analytics tools to enhance user experience.

Types of cookies used:

Essential Cookies: Required for security, authentication, and platform functionality.
Performance Cookies: Help improve speed, reliability, and performance.
Analytics Tools: Including services such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and similar tools.

By using our platform, you consent to the use of cookies.

9. API Usage Policy

This section applies to all merchants and developers granted API access.

Permitted Use

APIs may only be used for legitimate, approved business operations as defined in onboarding documents.

Fair Usage

API keys have assigned TPS limits and daily quotas. Abuse, circumvention, or load-based attacks are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Activities

You must NOT use the API for:

Money laundering, terrorist financing, or illegal transactions
Automated scraping, probing, or flooding
Redirecting funds to unverified or unapproved accounts

Security Obligations

Merchants must:

Keep API keys secure
Rotate keys when necessary
Report any suspected breach immediately

Suspension & Termination

We may throttle, suspend, or permanently revoke API access without notice for violations.

Audit Rights

We reserve the right to audit API usage logs, merchant activity, and compliance records at any time for security, risk, and regulatory purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Pakistan.

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically.
Updates will be communicated via email, website notification, or merchant dashboard.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
